Job Description
As an AB in the Deck department of a cruise ship or vessel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the deck. You will work under the supervision of senior deck officers and be responsible for various deck duties and maintenance tasks. 1. Deck Operations:

3. Safety and Emergency Response:
– Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment on the deck.
– Participate in safety drills and exercises, including fire drills and man overboard drills.
– Assist in the deployment and retrieval of life-saving appliances, such as lifeboats and life rafts.
4. Maintenance and Repairs:
– Perform routine maintenance tasks on the deck, including cleaning, painting, and preservation of surfaces.
– Assist in the maintenance and repair of deck equipment, structures, and fittings.
